My Approach

  • Beginning Therapy

Our initial sessions will be focused on rapport building, which simply means that we will focus on building our client-therapist relationship. Having a strong relationship is critical for success, because it is out of the strength of that relationship where people find the courage to change.

  • Personalized

My work with clients is specifically geared towards their personality and their needs. I do not subscribe to a one size fits all approach, but rather get to know each individual I meet with and we determine together our path forward.

  • What We Do Together

We begin by figuring out where your pain points are. Then, from a space of judgement-free curiosity, we explore existing patterns in your life that may be causing you a feeling of ‘stuck-ness’, pain, or simply preventing you from living the life you want to live. Lastly, we will work together to create new patterns that align more with who you are and what you want your values to be.

  • My rates are $150 per 50 minute session, or $200 for a 90 minute session. If you are unable to afford these rates, please go ahead and reach out to me, and we can further discuss your needs.

  • I am considered an out of network provider. Most major insurances reimburse for out of network mental health providers. However, it depends on your policy. My recommendation is to contact your insurance and ask them how much they reimburse for out of network mental health providers. On my end, I can provide you superbills to submit to your insurance. How it would work is, you would be charged directly after each of our sessions. Afterwards I would send you a superbill, which you would then submit to your insurance, and then your insurance may reimburse you for some portion of the cost based on your coverage. I am happy to answer any further questions you might have during our session!

  • There is, unfortunately, no straight answer to this question. Sometimes it takes 2 months to see lasting change. Sometimes it takes 2 years. The biggest factor it depends on is how motivated you are as the client to change.

  • The broadest answer I can give is ‘however often you need’. Most typically I see clients once per week. However, there are a variety of options. I typically recommend meeting once per week for the first month in order to establish a strong connection. However if you are not able to do this, we will make a different frequency work!
